Investigations and preparation of fibrinogencoated tan A/Das PC: Investigations and preparation of fibrinogen-coated tanned sheep red cells.
نویسنده
چکیده
The preparation and investigations of tanned sheep red cells coated with human fibrinogen are presented in detail and noted variables are discussed. Both tanning and coating are quick processes. Higher concentrations of tannic acid improved the sensitivity of the cells but required an increased concentration of stabilizing serum to prevent autoagglutination. Fibrinogen concentration above 2 mug/ml had no significant effect, although a concentration above 100 mug/ml sometimes produced cells with incomplete patterns. The pH of the reaction media may be varied widely, although tanning and coating at a more alkaline pH yielded cells showing an indistinct pattern. Cells prepared by this method can be stored for at least six months.

A stable sheep cell preparation for detecing thyroglobulin auto-antibodies and its clinical applications.
The preparation of stable formolized sheep cells coated with thyroglobulin and their use for the detection of auto-antibodies in human thyroiditis is described. This provides an easy laboratory test which gives results closely comparable with those using fresh tanned cells. The agglutination titres do not closely parallel the antibody content of the serum but a good correlation may be obtained ...

ZnO is a promising material suitable for variety of novel electronic applications including sensors, transistors, and solar cells. Intrinsic ZnO film has inferiority in terms of electronic properties, which has prompted researches and investigations on doped ZnO films in order to improve its electronic properties. In this work, aluminum (Al) doped ZnO (AZO) with various concentrations and undop...

Preparation and characterization of thermoresponsive in-situ forming poloxamer hydrogel for controlled release of Nile red-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles. Nanoparticles (NPs) are cleared rapidly from systemic circulation and do not provide sustained action in most cases. To solve this problem, this investigation introduces an erodible in-situ forming gel system as potential vehicles for prolo...
متن کاملPreparation, Physiochemical and Kinetic Investigations of V2O5/SiO2 Catalyst for the Sulfuric Acid Production
V2O5/SiO2 catalyst was utilized to oxidize SO2 to SO3 species in the presence of oxygen mainly for producing sulfuric acid. For this catalyst, the active phase was a mixture of vanadium pentoxide and basic sulfate/pyrosulfate material. This active phase at the reaction temperature behaved as a liquid filling up the pores of the silica support. On the other hand, amounts of the SO3 and V5+ speci...
متن کاملFabrication of coated - collagen electro-spun PHBV nanofiber film by chemical method and its cellular study
Tissue engineering is defined as the designing and engineering of structures to rebuild and repair a body damaged tissue. Scaffolding Poly Hydroxy Butyrate Valraty (PHBV) has shown good biocompatibility and biodegradable properties. Nanofibers have improved the performance of biomaterials, and could be considered effective. One of the important methods for designing nanofiber scaffold is the el...
